Frequently Asked Questions

Is the CNC system a wig?

No. Unlike a wig, the CNC system is a bio medical material that is both anti-fungal and anti-microbial. The system precisely mirrors your scalp, hairline and original direction of growth creating a second scalp. Once attached a client can achieve a full active life style, swimming, sports and activities can all be undertaken as normal. Clients can also style their new hair however they choose.

Is the CNC system a transplant?

No, the system is non-invasive and non-surgical.

Can both men and women use the CNC system?

Yes. The system is suitable for both men and women and is designed for full or partial hair loss.

How much does it cost?

Pricing varies based on the quantity/area of hair loss & also the length of hair required. Each CNC system can be produced to almost any size and length of hair therefore a comprehensive consultation is required to provide accurate pricing.

Can I lose hair whilst wearing a CNC?

We have many clients with temporary forms of hair loss such as chemotherapy induced, stress related, etc who have fully regrown their hair whilst wearing CNC. For clients who suffer from degenerative forms of hair loss such as androgenic alopecia and autoimmune conditions, continued hair loss may occur whilst wearing a hair replacement system.

Will the CNC system damage hair regrowth?

No, the system should not affect hair regrowth. CNC relies on a hypo-allergenic system that has been dermatologically tested and designed to maintain a normal healthy scalp and skin ‘breathability’, CNC also offers antibacterial protection for your skin.

Does CNC work?

The CNC System is safe and has been developed by Cesare Ragazzi Laboratories – a world renowned company in the field of scientific research into hair and scalp disorders, and the development of effective treatments. How do I maintain my hair prosthesis system?
